Located in the Castleberry Hill Arts District in Atlanta, Gallery Stokes was housed in the historic Ty Stokes building which was once a cap and gown factory. Gallery Stokes was an art space that offered local and regional emerging and mid-career artists the opportunity to have a solo exhibition in order to give a thorough introduction of their work to local patrons and other Atlanta galleries. This approach allowed us to exhibit a wide range of extraordinary work, and gave the Atlanta community the chance to become acquainted with artists who were little known or new to the city.
